Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker

Nine months after its launch, Mass Effect 2 finally has a comparable DLC Dragon Age: Awakenings. Not in terms of size - it only takes a small party to complete the Broker's Lair of the Shadow - but as a showcase. It is an exciting and compelling addition to an already immense universe, those that leave you with a touch of melancholy, full of hope when they are finished.

It starts slowly, however. Trouble Man sends you a note saying that he found information on the mysterious Shadow Broker, the seller of information that your body wow gold has recovered exploded in space and your previous ally Liara T'Soni wants him dead. From this introduction simple, we start to Ilium to meet Liara and the atmosphere soon turns to conspiracy.

Evidence that this story really thumbnail is excellent, I carefully avoided any information that could spoil the fun to me even at the very beginning. Suffice it to say that the DLC achieved an almost perfect balance by finding enough space to cram wow gold us all the elements in which excels as Mass Effect 2, while expanding the story to a vigorous pace. There are some funny dialogue options, and at least two games where excessive clump of enemies on all sides. Add to that two particularly entertaining boss battles and you experience more varied and substantial than indicated by its short duration.

Back together the old team really causes a twinge of

Along the way, the DLC finds time to introduce a variant in the plot (which sees it from afar, but which is nonetheless beautifully brought) and provides visual in-yer- view while you battle in, around, rift platinum above and below the hull of a giant cruiser barreling through an atmospheric storm. It looks like maybe a little too much the apotheosis of the first game, where you were fighting in the citadel crumbling, but when the view is so grand, who cares a little rehearsal?

The Lair of the Shadow Broker - Trailer

The writing team at BioWare has done a masterful tour de force by bringing frames of intrigue outstanding. There are set pieces based on specific characters and their worlds. There are moments of classic fighting with Shepard and a memorable passage with a hostage. There are fleeting allusions and clever referential jokes that will delight those who are completely immersed in this rapidly expanding universe.
